OVERVIEW

SUMMIT DESCRIPTION

There is a global epidemic in cardiovascular and peripheral vascular diseases. National Health Institute named Puerto Rico number one in the incidence of metabolic arteriosclerotic syndrome and diabetes. The experts will provide statistical data to make us realize that we must educate physicians, paramedical personnel, health providers and government officials as a national need. Prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in Puerto Rico is no longer an option but a necessity.

SUMMIT OBJECTIVE

This multidisciplinary one day summit will expose the participant to the newest endovascular and cardiovascular technologies. All participants will be together in a plenary session to discuss formal presentations, round table discussions and complicated clinical cases with a panel of experts. Also, the participant will acquire knowledge on how to make prevention and early diagnosis in cardiovascular diseases, new cutting edge endovascular technologies and novel strategies in pharmacological management of diseases.
